Q1. How long did it take to launch from your first light bulb moment to launch?
I spent about 2 years from when I first had the idea for NICO to when we launched. It was a period of practice and skilling up in the areas I felt like I needed more experience in. A really exciting time but also frustrating in some ways as I was itching to get started!

Q2. Why underwear?
I really felt there was a gap in the market for the kind of product that we make at NICO. Something that was comfort focussed but still made with luxurious fabrics and style driven cuts.

Q3. What is the most surprising joy you get from running your own business?
It sounds a bit silly but I still get a little kick every time we send our products out into the world!

Q4. Do you have a mentor or muse?
Not formally, but informally I have so many! I've been lucky to have a lot of great advice from a lot of generous people along the way and I am constantly inspired but our beautiful customers.

Q5. What song is in your head at the moment?
Really enjoying Father John Misty's new album.

Q6. Who is the sunshine of your life?
I have a 4 month old daughter who is such a delight! She is full of joy (most of the time!) and reminds me to live more in the moment.

Q7. Favourite Podcast or podcast you are into ATM?
I really enjoy How I Built This with Guy Raz. Super inspiring to hear how some of my favourite brands got started.

Q8. Luxury to you is?
Confidance.

Q9. Favourite flowers?
Lisianthus.

Q10. Shower or Bath girl?
A shower girl who wishes she had time to be a bath girl.

Q11. Favourite item of clothing (aside from Nico)?
I basically live in Nobody Denim jeans!

Q12. Any secrets you want to tell us?
Haha! We just met! Maybe next interview ;)

Q13. How are you able2 be mindful – life in general?
Reminding myself to slow down and enjoy moments rather than rushing to the next thing.
